The location is truly wonderful, very close to best sights of Istanbul. Many many choices for food in the area too. Staff was very cordial even helped sign us on for a day tour thru a company near the hotel and we had a great day trip of the city.
Rates are quoted in euro why?? We had turkish lira not euro.

Staff was quite helpful and respond fairly quickly to request for assistance.
The single room was supposed to have an attached toilet but this was not the case. The toilet bowl was dirty and not flushed upon check in.

The staff is polite and frendly. The location of this hotel is exellent: in the centre of old city, near to the all tourist attractions.
Conveniences are minimal, the breakfast is poor.

It's location to the Blue Mosque and other major sites etc
We stayed saturday til wednesday last week. First they tried to take the money from my card early and cancelled the reservation(I got paid the day I arrived so it would've been ok if they took it out on arrival like other hotels) Then they re-booked us in and put us in accommadation seperate from the hotel/ The electrics were not safe, the tiles cracked all over the room. The next day we were transferred to a room in the main hotel which was a bit better but I don't like showers without shower bases - the water ran along the whole bathroom floor so noone could use the bathroom afterwards. No cleaner came to the room the whole time! The bathroom bin was overflowing, no toilet roll, no clean towels or bedding....

The hotel is superbly situated in the Istanbul quarter of Sultanahmed and some of its rooms enjoy a splendid view of the shore closeby. Buharas best feature probably is the roof terrace, which is protected from the sun by vines and offers a great view.
At arrival in the hotel, we were given a room with a tiny cubicle of a bathroom, with the showerhead istalled practically on top of the toilet. The bathroom continually flooded and the door was covered in mildew, which of course attracted insects as well. Apart from those biblical plagues, the rooms floor and sheets weren't properly clean, and in the corner a non-functioning tv was gathering dust. On our request, we were transferred to a different room with a more tolerable bathroom, although likewise the room was not properly cleaned. On mentioning this to the manager, he declared his lease contract would only run for four more month and there was nothing he could do. He also misrepresented the lira- euro exchange rate to overcharge me on the hotel bill.
